Track of the Day: Stars – Fallen Mafia

Newcastle hard rockers Fallen Mafia released their awesome new track “Stars” on 11th December 2020. It’s the first single from the band’s forthcoming second full-length album.

“Stars” sees Fallen Mafia take a slightly different, but exciting change in direction from their trademark heavy riffs and driving drums with this release. They have produced a track that is atmospheric and inviting and allows Hannah Neil’s vocals to be showcased beautifully while not straying too far from the sound that existing fans love.

“Stars” was released on WDFD Records. You can buy/stream the track here – https://ditto.fm/stars-fallen-mafia.

Hailing from Newcastle, Fallen Mafia have built a loyal following in their native North East since their formation in 2011. Support slots with Y&T, Turisas, Michael Monroe, Vega, and Massive Wagons along with appearances at Stonedeaf, Wildfire, and SOS Festival opened them up to a whole new audience, with Metal Planet Music saying, ‘With huge Sabbath-like riffs and rolling drums this 5-piece tore the rule book up as far as opening acts are concerned’.

The critically acclaimed debut album ‘Awaken’ (2019) was described as ‘…defiantly an album that rocks with ferocity’ by Vive Le Rock!

Fallen Mafia are:
Hannah Lia Neil – Vocals
Chris Johnson – Guitar
Adas Cowan – Drums
Stephen Hope – Guitar
Duncan Emmerson – Bass
