New releases from Wayward Sons, The Bad Flowers, Dirty Thrills, and Gary Numan!

Today has been a great day for new releases! Here are four of the best that I think you should know about.

Wayward Sons – “Ghosts Of Yet To Come”

I was very happy to receive my signed copy of the Wayward Sons’ debut album today! 🙂

This band is fronted by ex-Little Angels frontman, Toby Jepson. They released a few singles from the album recently and they’ve all been impressive. I featured “Alive” as a Track of the Day a couple of months ago.

I’m looking forward to listening to the whole album.

Here’s the latest video, for the title track “Ghost Of Yet To Come”, an awesome rock and roll track with insightful lyrics.

The Bad Flowers – “Thunder Child”

If you follow the blog, you’ll know I’m a big fan of The Bad Flowers. I’ve been following them for a couple of years and have always loved their sound. They’ve just released a new single, “Thunder Child” and it’s supported by a great music video. The single has been featured on Planet Rock Radio!

“Thunder Child” is from the upcoming debut album, “Starting Gun”, set to be released in early 2018.

The video gives you some idea of the energy these guys bring to their live shows. They’re one of the best live rock bands on the scene at the moment. Catch them on tour with The Picturebooks in the UK in October. They’ll also be playing Planet Rock’s Winter’s End festival next February. More details here: https://www.thebadflowers.uk/shows

Gary Numan – “Savage: Songs From A Broken World”

I heard the first three singles from Gary Numan’s new album and just had to pre-order it! All three tracks are amazing; some of the best new music I’ve heard in a while. Mesmerising and creative. I’m looking forward to hearing the whole album.

I was happy to find that my deluxe CD version had been delivered today; it comes in the form of a book with all the lyrics 🙂
