The Slow Readers Club – UK tour dates!

The Slow Readers Club are one of my favourite bands. They have two excellent albums and are currently working on their third.

I’ve been following them for just over a year and have seen them live three times. Their live shows are always fantastic. Check out my review of their show at The Borderline in April HERE.

The band have been building up their fan base over the past year or so, supporting bands such as James and The Charlatans. They recently played the Isle of Wight Festival and their performance of “I Saw A Ghost” was featured on the Sky Arts TV channel as part of the festival highlights!

They’ve have been touring across the UK this year. Their next gig is at the sold out Sounds of the City where they are supporting James, on the 7th of July.

The Slow Readers Club will also be playing the Victorious Festival in August, and Festival Number 6 in September at Tim Peaks Diner.

Tickets for their “Through the Shadows” headline winter tour are selling fast; grab yours while you can!

    • I love the way they have captured that ’80’s sound and brought it into the twenty-first century. Their newer stuff sounds awesome live too. I’m looking forward to hearing the 3rd album 🙂
