Pre-order the new Gene Loves Jezebel (Jay Aston) album!

largeI first fell in love with Gene Loves Jezebel when I heard their album “Discover” back in 1990. They have so many great songs and have remained a favourite band of mine over the years.

The brothers who originally formed the group parted ways. They now front different bands, both called Gene Loves Jezebel, Michael in the US and Jay in the UK (you can read more about that in their bio).

Jay Aston’s Gene Loves Jezebel have announced that they will be making a new album. You can pre-order it on Pledge Music.

The band say:

30 years ago GLJ started rehearsing and writing songs for the House of Dolls album. To coincide, the band featuring Jay Aston, Chris Bell, Peter Rizzo and James Stevenson are getting together again in February to record a new album with legendary producer Peter Walsh. We’re very excited to finally be able to record the many songs that we have written over the last few years.

But to get this project up and running we really need your support. You can help by pre-ordering the album right now. Also by purchasing one of our new merchandise items. We’ve also got many personal items for sale and we’ll be adding more Jezebel goodies throughout the campaign. We’ll get all items sent to you as soon as the album has been mastered and pressed, although some items can be sent once we reach our target.

As a pledger you’ll be able to download the album before it’s available anywhere else. You’ll also get updates with photos and videos of us working in the studio.

Please get on board and help the band create this long overdue step in their tumultuous history.
