Track of the Day: Meant To Be – InAir

“Meant To Be” is the fantastic debut single from UK band InAir. It’s a catchy, alternative rock song; melodic rock with some excellent heavier guitar parts, thought-provoking introspective lyrics, and an overall evocative sound. The band are currently working on an EP.

Band bio:

‘InAir are an Alt Rock four piece from South England. As a band they have a passion for contrasting sparkling cleans with atmospheric synths; Typically backed up by a driven climactic chorus, all with the aim of manipulating the space within the music itself. Drawing from a wide range of influences, their alternative electronic rock sound is ever shifting and evolving by its very nature. The band released their debut 3 track single ‘Meant to Be’ this August and will start recording their debut EP before the end of 2016.’

Despite their first gig being as recent as March 3rd 2016, at the Jericho Tavern in Oxford, InAir have already supported bands making waves in the national scene in the form of Chasing Cadence (Basingstoke), Elasea (High Wycombe), Veridian (Reading) and Grey Haven (London). The four-piece have also enjoyed a number of hometown shows including a BBC introducing night at Purple Turtle as well as headlining the second stage at Readipop Festival. Debut single ‘Meant To Be’ available now via iTunes, Spotify, Google Play etc..’
