Track of the Day – THE BLINDING LIGHTS ‘The Gods’ Hangout’

The Blinding Lights is a new English band with an EP out right now called ‘For Those Nights’. Influences from 50s rock’n’roll, 60s rhythm and blues, and 70s classic rock come through in The Blinding Lights’ sound, and to quote lead singer Callum Lury:

…it’s sort of rock’n’roll/rhythm and blues, quite inspired by the Jersey Shore sound of the 60s, particularly The Boss…

Got to love a rock band that features the piano so strongly: it definitely gives the band their own vibe, and hearkens back to some old-school rock and roll acts.

If you’re in the neighbourhood, The Blinding Lights are playing at The Workshop in London on April 21st. Details here.
