Simplefast – Cursed EP

1465197_1075037899205845_8874633440772892903_nI found out about this talented young band today when they followed our Rock and Roll Twitter page. Simplefast are a metal band from Greece who are producing some great melodic metal. They quote their influences as Metallica, Motörhead, and Iron Maiden—among others—and I can definitely hear those influences in their sound.

Simplefast released their debut 6-track EP, “Cursed”, in 2014. You can stream it on various sites online. It’s a great collection of songs. There are lots of catchy riffs and guitar solos. I enjoyed listening to it and think that fans of melodic metal will like it. For a debut EP it’s very impressive, and I’m looking forward to hearing more from them. I understand that they’re working on a full length album at the moment.

They have some upcoming tour dates in Greece. Check out their website for details: http://www.simplefast-official.com/tour-dates/

The band recently got through to the local finals of Hard Rock Rising 2016 and will be performing on the 1st of June at the ROCK LOCAL/WIN GLOBAL showcase at Hard Rock Cafe Athens
