Multi-national rockers Blues Pills have been taking a break from touring for some months, working on new music instead, but now the band is back and have just announced an extensive European tour.
I reviewed the band’s self-titled album a while back (read my review), and they are a very talented crew. Looking forward to seeing more new music from them, as soon as possible! (And hey, why not a North American tour as well?)
Bassist Zack Anderson comments: “After spending some time off to work on songs for our second album, we are super excited to embark on our tour in February and March. Our stops include, but not exclusively, France, Italy, Portugal and Spain…..with lots of new venues we haven’t yet played. Looking forward to meeting our old fans and making new ones.“
BLUES PILLS CONFIRMED SUPPORT BANDS FOR UPCOMING EUROPEAN TOUR
Blues Pills confirmed support bands for their upcoming European Tour starting on February 12th.
Norwegian Blues Rockers Pristine will join them for the first part of the tour. The psychedelic rock project around charismatic singer/songwriter Heidi Solheim just released their 3rd album and will bring an intense seventies blues rock experience to stages.
For the second part of the tour, Blues Pills will be accompanied by ‘dirty pole dance stoner blues rock’ duo White Miles. The energetic two-piece has already made a name for itself throughout a few successful European tours, supporting Truckfighters, Courtney Love and Eagles of Death Metal. This spring, White Miles are back and ready to hit the stage again!
