Beseech is a Swedish band with a long history, and a new album out in March this year. ‘Highwayman’ is a beautiful, dark, and haunting rendition of a Jimmy Webb tune, made famous by Johnny Cash and The Highwaymen (where Cash was joined by Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson).
The video is beautiful, the tune is classic, and this version of it gets deeper under my skin every time I listen to it.
