Whenever Rival Sons bring out a new video it’s a pretty sure thing that it will be my track of the day. ‘Electric Man’ is one of my favourite tracks from the band’s most recent album Great Western Valkyrie: all fuzzed up guitar, killer vocals, and a groove and swing heavy enough to make you want to dance as soon as you hear it. This tune is simply outstanding.
Rival Sons are kicking off their North American tour, and I’ll be seeing the band live in Vancouver come June (with Halestorm), and I simply can’t wait. I saw them in early 2013 (read my gig review from The Roxy), and I knew they were the real magical deal then.
